COST EFFECTIVE AUTOMATED AIR POLLUTION CONTROL FOR VEHICLES

[Vol. 02 (01), December, 2021, pp. 07-16]

With improvement of civilization, vehicles have become a part and parcel of everyday life.Geographical locations, unavailability of commodities and essential services, requirement of time management in fast paced urban life has proved the necessity of using fossil fuel driven vehicles. Oneof the adverse effects of using vehicle in a non-scientific and uncontrolled way is air pollution.Uncontrolled utilization of fossil fuel is caused due to incomplete combustion of fuel. Although qualityof fuel and engines is upgrading day by day, but negligence of proper maintenance of vehicles by owners is also increasing. This paper aims at creating a small low cost prototype that not only alarm the user about the over pollution level but also compels to take necessary action before using the vehicle.

ARDUINO BASED HOME AUTOMATION WITH ADDED SECURITIES TO AVOID DISASTERS OF HUMAN LIFE

[Vol. 02 (01), December, 2021, pp. 17-22]

In today’s world, everyone seems to be busy in their own life that individuals rarely be sure of using resources effectively. We all know gas may be a useful component in environment. Some gases don't cause any harm if emitted in excess amount but some do. Gas like LPG is employed household purpose for cooking food. Not only in household purpose but also in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc. where there's human interaction. Also, we will see CNG operated vehicles. If there's any amount of leakage of those type gases it can cause an enormous loss to life and property. When LPG and CNG are burnt or mixed to the atmosphere, it leaves alkanes, alkenes and other hydrocarbon in the atmosphere. Which further causes difficulties in breathing, violent coughing of human beings. So, what if we get how to scale back or abandon the possibilities of this loss. In this paper a method of LPG sensing has been focus to save the life of household during the leakage of gas like LPG.

MUTUAL COUPLING AND CROSS-POLARIZATION REDUCTION IN A PATCH ANTENNA ARRAY BASED ON MICROSTRIP RESONATOR

[Vol. 02 (01), December, 2021, pp. 23-31]

Mutual coupling arises in an antenna array because of 1. Signal leakage via conducting currents on the metallic background or surface wave along substrates 2. Leakage received from space between antenna elements. The first one can be suppressed by changing the distribution of surface currents. But in the 2nd case the radiation-leakage caused coupling can be minimized by conventional approaches using circuit manipulation. In this research work, we propose and design a decoupling module, which is planer frequency-selective surface structure. FSS structure has the ability to suppress the surface wave propagation by providing an extra coupling path which will oppose the signal goes directly from element to element. In this design it has been observed that after implementing FSS structure between antenna elements, it causes significant suppression of mutual coupling with a reduction of more than 50dB at the designed frequency of 3.7GHz.

PERFORMANCE OF SCC BY PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT BY MINERAL ADDITIVES

[Vol. 02 (01), December, 2021, pp. 32-39]

An experimental study was executed to review the effectiveness of mineral additives over the strength and flexural performance of SCC mix trials subjected to monotonic loads. RCC beam specimens of desired grade were casted in the present study. To assess the fresh properties of concrete slump flow, U-Box, V-Funnel and L-Box test were done and for hardened characteristics compressive as well as tensile strength tests were performed for 7 days and 28 days. Monotonic loading was displacement-controlled for this test. Test results indicate that the stress-strain relationship was linear at the initial stage while non-linearity gradually developed with the increasing load as the stiffness reduces. The faster rate of loading retards the propagation of internal micro-cracks and develops the external cracks.

STUDY ON THE BEHAVIOURAL PROPERTIES OF PERVIOUS CONCRETE

[Vol. 02 (01), December, 2021, pp. 40-45]

Pervious concrete is a form of lightweight porous concrete, obtained by eliminating the sand from the normal concrete mix. The advantages of this type of concrete are lower density, lower cost due to lower cement content, lower thermal conductivity, relatively low drying shrinkage, no segregation and capillary movement of water. It has better insulating characteristics than conventional concrete because of the presence of large voids. The effect of w/c ratio and aggregate size on the strength of pervious concrete are studied. The property of pervious concrete by replacing cement by fly ash is also studied. It is revealed that the compressive strength increases as the water/cement ratio decreases up to optimum w/c ratio and with increase in volume of paste. It is observed that cement can be effectively replaced by fly ash which reduces the cost of pervious concrete. Types of concrete that permits water to penetrate through it because of its high void or porosity is known as pervious concrete. These studies look into the impact of size of aggregate (20mm and 10mm), w/c ratio (0.32 & 0.28), super plasticizers (auramix 400 &conplastsp 430) and different percentage of fibre (i.e 1% & 2%) on the behavior of pervious concrete and were described the resemblance with 4 criteria: Compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural strength, and permeability test. The result indicates that there is moderate increase in strength with decrease in w/c ratio from 0.32 to 0.28 & moreover super plasticizer (conplastsp 430) gives good strength.

OVER VIEW OF NON CONVENTIONAL SOURCE OF ENERGY AND ITS APPLICATION

[Vol. 02 (01), December, 2021, pp. 65-71]

Nonconventional energy or renewable sources of energy is defined as the sources of energy that are exhaustible and being made continuously in nature. Coal, oil and gas sorts of atomic energy are the standard sources compress the fossil fuels. Uranium is a gas sorts of atomic energy, whereas the nonconventional sources like daylight, wind, rain, tides, and energy heat, that are renewable. The event and progress of grouping have connected with energy sources, quite a lot of countries throughout the globe have engaged themselves in looking and developing non-conventional energy sources that may be terribly essential to sustain the life cycle of a person. Actually consumption of energy is directly proportional to the progress of the grouping. With ever growing population, improvement within the living commonplace of mankind, industrialization of developing countries, the world demand for energy is anticipated to extend considerably within the close to future. The energy crisis that begin in 1973 caused oil supplies to decrease and costs to rise usurious. This crisis forced developing countries to cut back and hold over necessary development programs, so that they may pay for oil to stay their economies operational. It created the urgent necessity to look for and develop energy sources, like different fossil fuels i.e., coal, gas, atomic energy, and renewable energy resources. India has as well taken sure initiatives during this read. In this paper, we mostly study about review of concerning numerous non-conventional energy sources and their current standing and usage.
